Tuition Payment
All private lessons are based on a month-to-month schedule, and tuition is charged on a monthly basis. Payment is due no later than the 5th day of the month. I accept payment by cash, electronic transfer, or by check. If a student begins private lessons after the first week of the month, I will charge a prorated rate for the number of lessons before the beginning of the following month.
Missed Lessons and Make-Up Policy
I offer make-up lessons for student illness, closures due to inclement weather, death in the family, and for lesson days that fall on major holidays. All lessons cancelled by me are also eligible for make-up lessons. I do not grant make-ups or credits for missed lessons without notice (no-shows).
Vacations/Multiple Missed Lessons
If a student plans to miss one or more lessons in a given month due to vacation or travel, I require a minimum of 30 days’ notice.
Termination of Lessons
I require a one month notice to discontinue lessons. Lessons may be terminated by emailing me at kathryn.zorman@gmail.com.
