Welcome!

My name is Kathryn Zorman, and I offer private voice and piano lessons at my home studio in Boulder, Colorado.

Music is my passion, and I enjoy instilling the love of music into others. I believe that anyone can learn the skills needed to sing or play the music that they enjoy.

In my lessons, I work to develop the skills and technique necessary for basic instrument learning. I also provide students the tools needed to expand their skills into a variety of musical genres. My curriculum strives to develop independent learning and critical analysis skills in my students.

I also encourage creative expression in my lessons, and love helping students create music of their own. My students work with me on an individual basis to create and achieve goals based on their musical interests.

Whether you’re completely new to music, or you want to improve your skills further, I’m eager to work with you to achieve your musical goals!

Knowledgeable, patient, paces lessons very well, imparts information in a clear manner, I am very happy with her tutoring. I am learning rhythm in an effort to be able to sight-sing. I am trying to marry pitch and rhythm and Kathryn is immensely helpful. I forgot to mention that she has a lovely disposition too!
